The Monterey County Government Center at Schilling Place was a renovation of a 300,000 square foot building that had been abandoned for many years. The exterior site improvements include selective demolition of approximately 5,000 square feet to construct new concrete walks, A.C. paving, and signage for accessibility barrier removal and a new bus stop. We transformed this property into a vivid and modernized multi-use government center in less than one year.
Ausonio supports green and healthy living, so we were excited to add an employee fitness center and healthy eating cafeteria to promote the same green lifestyle to all employees who use the building. We worked closely with the County of Monterey to make this project come to life and have made it possible for different county departments to collaborate together more efficiently and with ease.
